Harris ridicules pro-life demonstrators ‘at an inappropriate event’ shortly before being excluded from Catholic charity dinner

Vice President Kamala Harris encountered pro-life protesters during her campaign in Wisconsin on Thursday. In response, she expressed her disagreement by stating that they were at the “wrong rally.” Additionally, she chose not to attend the Al Smith Catholic charities dinner.

“We will continue to push ahead because our battle is for the future and for the invaluable concept of freedom. It encompasses the essential freedom for a woman to have agency over her own body without governmental interference,” Harris expressed passionately to the gathered crowd.

“We won’t be deceived on this matter. It’s clear in our memory that Donald Trump carefully chose three members of the United States Supreme Court with the sole purpose of dismantling the safeguards provided by Roe v. Wade, and they fulfilled his expectations,” she stated emphatically.

Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic presidential nominee, delivered a powerful speech at a campaign rally held at Erie Insurance Arena in Erie, Pennsylvania on Monday.

As Harris was speaking, she was interrupted by a group of anti-abortion protesters. In response, she flashed a grin and jokingly remarked, “Oh, you guys are at the wrong rally.”

Referring to the rally held by former President Trump, she suggested that the intended destination was actually the smaller one down the street. The crowd burst into cheers upon hearing her remark.

Users on social media have been speculating about Harris’ response to a specific attendee who shouted, “Jesus is Lord.” Fox News Digital has reached out to the Harris campaign for comment.

Harris decided to skip the 79th Alfred E. Smith Memorial Foundation Dinner in New York City, coinciding with the rally. The dinner, which was established in 1946, has been instrumental in raising millions of dollars for charities that focus on supporting women and children.

In 2020, Harris became the first major-party presidential contender to skip the event since Walter Mondale in 1984.
