Catholic Democrats show support for Harris in anticipation of JD Vance’s visit to Waukesha

On Sunday, October 20, Lieutenant Governor Sara Rodriguez and local leaders gathered in Waukesha, Wisconsin for a canvas launch. The event aimed to remind voters about the potential impact of a Trump presidency on Americans.

Supporters of Kamala Harris were up bright and early on Sunday morning, energized and ready to rally and go door-to-door. This was just one of the 50 canvas launches happening all over the Badger state.

Linda Best, a Catholic voter who supports Harris, expressed her frustration with JD’s attempt to lecture them on their values and how their votes translate into support for Donald Trump.

Linda Best, a devout Catholic and concerned citizen, expressed her disapproval to the canvassers, stating that a Trump-Vance ticket contradicts Catholic values.

Best expressed his strong disapproval of actions that go against his values, such as lying, desecrating the Bible, manufacturing it in China, profiting from it, or using it as a political prop.

Gregory Garland, a member of a Waukesha parish, believes that Trump and Vance are selectively targeting Christians in their pursuit of votes.

Rodriguez pointed out that there is a noticeable shift happening in Waukesha County, as well as in other suburbs across Wisconsin. He attributed this shift to the extreme agenda of both Donald Trump and JD Vance.

The affordability of groceries and healthcare is at stake, along with women’s autonomy over their bodies and the future of our democracy.

Rodriguez is eager to emphasize to supporters that several Wisconsin communities will be offering early in-person voting starting next Tuesday.
