Patrick expressed to Watters that voting for Donald Trump feels like a vote of reason, a rational and reasonable choice.

According to Patrick, there seems to be a significant divide between men and women in their voting preferences, particularly regarding Trump. She believes that one of the commonly cited reasons for not voting for the former president is inadequate.
She stated that there is certainly a distinction in the way men and women cast their votes, and she believes that women may struggle with voting because of his personality.
“People often say, ‘I just can’t vote for him,’ and consider it a valid reason. However, I believe that it’s not a good enough justification. You don’t have to socialize or spend time with the candidate personally. What really matters is your love for the country you call home.”
Before announcing her preferred candidate for president, Patrick shared her reasons for not voting in the past and how she had a change of heart when it came to becoming informed about politics.
Republican vice president nominee Senator JD Vance, a Republican from Ohio, addressed the audience at a campaign event in Greensboro, North Carolina on Thursday, October 10, 2024. The event was moderated by Danica Patrick, who attentively listened to Vance’s speech. The event was captured in a photograph taken by Chuck Burton of the Associated Press.
“I have to admit, it’s not something I’m proud of,” confessed Patrick, the only woman to ever win an IndyCar Series race. “To provide a bit of context, I had a personal rule during past elections where I decided not to vote.
It didn’t mean I didn’t have an opinion, but I chose not to share it with anyone. I believed that if I didn’t fulfill my civic duty, I had no right to complain about anything. Racing was my sole focus and consumed all of my time and energy, leaving little room to grasp the intricacies of politics.”
Patrick’s life took a turn when she began tuning into the news earlier this year.
She exclaimed, “That’s the only thing I watch.”
“I had such an amazing time at the event and even shared some pictures afterwards,” she enthusiastically expressed. “The atmosphere was filled with patriotic colors – red, white, and blue. Red happens to be my favorite color, so I couldn’t help but express my love for this country. AMFEST, America Fest, is truly the place to be. It garnered a lot of media attention.”

“I truly believe that if he gets elected, this country has the potential to reach new heights. The incredible individuals who are rallying behind him are not only brilliant, but they also have the power to make America greater than it has ever been,” she passionately expressed.
