With just over two weeks remaining until Election Day, former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris are engaged in a fierce competition to outdo each other. According to the RealClearPolitics poll average, Harris currently holds a slight 1-point lead.
As the national chairwoman for Women for Trump, Stefanik emphasized that women experienced greater economic prosperity during Trump’s tenure compared to the Biden-Harris administration.
According to Representative Stefanik, President Trump’s leadership greatly benefited women. She highlighted the economic success achieved during his presidency, including the highest number of women in the workforce and the lowest unemployment rate for women in modern times.
Additionally, Stefanik pointed out that President Trump expanded access to child care and implemented paid family leave for women in government.
According to Stefanik, women experienced the highest wages in history and also established a greater number of small businesses compared to previous eras. However, their financial stability was greatly impacted by inflation.
According to Stefanik, women are bearing the burden of the current struggling economy under Kamala Harris. She urges women to carefully consider their experiences under President Trump compared to the present situation. Stefanik believes that women were in a better position under President Trump’s leadership.
Stefanik took over as the House Republican Conference chairwoman during Trump’s presidency, replacing then-Rep. Liz Cheney, who was openly critical of the president at the time. Trump showed his support for Stefanik before she was nominated, endorsing her over Cheney.
