Applause filled the room, resonating with a sense of appreciation and admiration.

The phrase “internal enemies” has been reiterated by the former president multiple times in recent weeks, with each repetition adding a deeper dimension to his understanding of the concept.

In September, Trump alleged, with no supporting evidence, that Democrats were behind multiple assassination attempts on his life.

“The former president proclaimed it as the enemy from within, stating that it poses the true threat.”

During an interview with Fox News on October 13th, Trump expressed his concern for peace on Election Day due to the actions of the “radical left.”

In a Fox News town hall three days later, Trump broadened his definition of enemies within to encompass politicians like Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA).

“He’s not simply relying on slogans,” stated Vance. “Rather, when individuals inquire, he genuinely expresses his heartfelt opinions.”

On Tuesday, Trump accused the Defense department of purposefully leaking classified information about Israel’s plans for retaliation against Iran. He appeared to hurl the phrase at them, expressing his dissatisfaction with their actions.

According to multiple reports, an ongoing investigation has not yet determined whether the documents were obtained through an intentional leak or a hack.

Harris’ campaign shared a video on X without providing context for Tuesday’s claim. The video was accompanied by the message, “Trump says Americans who don’t support him are ‘the enemy within’.”
