Tezlyn Figaro, a former adviser to Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), strongly criticizes Vice President Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign, describing it as “a disaster.” Figaro firmly believes that Harris never stood a chance against Donald Trump in the election, stating that there was “never a chance in hell” for her to win.
Figaro confidently expressed to NewsNation’s Dan Abrams on Friday that Vice President Harris had no chance at all in achieving this goal.
“I mentioned it, Dan, back in June. And I reiterated it in July. They were clearly preparing her for a 100-day campaign, specifically targeting a woman of color. But let me tell you, that 100-day campaign was an absolute disaster,” she passionately expressed. “Joe Biden should have stepped down during the last two years. They should have organized a primary and fielded a candidate for that position.”
During their conversation, Abrams pressed Figaro to identify the specific factors that she believes contributed to Harris’ loss. Figaro then proceeded to outline the various missteps that she believes played a role in the defeat.
“Well, Joe Biden was the problem,” Figaro stated. “He should have gotten off beforehand.”
Addressing the consultant class, she called out their inability to secure billion-dollar deals and accused them of consistently failing in this regard since the time of Obama’s presidency.
Figaro criticized the leaders for their lack of attention to the needs of the people. He stated, “They have literally come into these cities, they did not listen to the grassroots. They said that they knew it all. They spent all the money internally, they spent all the money on celebrities, they did not listen to the needs of the people.” According to Figaro, the leaders prioritized internal matters and celebrity endorsements over addressing the concerns of the community.
The speaker expressed her disappointment with the consultant class, stating that they have received the consequences they deserved. She further emphasized that this outcome is unfortunate because it will ultimately impact the well-being of the people.
Figaro stated that it is time for the George Clooneys, the Hollywood elites, and the James Carvilles of the world to respectfully take a seat and lend an ear to the grassroots. It is crucial for them to listen to what the people are seeking.
Democrats will continue to fail unless they address this issue.
