Convicted Murderer Lyle Menendez Seeks Divorce from Wife Rebecca Sneed as Details of his Relationship with British Student Milly Bucksey Emerge ahead of Resentencing Hearing

Lyle Menendez, it is reported, is currently involved in a clandestine relationship with a British university student whom he encountered on the internet during his time behind bars.

According to RadarOnline.com, the convicted felon, who has spent 35 years behind bars, is reportedly infatuated with 21-year-old Milly Bucksey to the extent that he has expressed a desire to divorce his devoted wife, Rebecca Sneed.

In 2003, Lyle tied the knot with Sneed, an interesting coincidence considering that his secret lover was born just a month later. According to an insider, Lyle has a strong affection for Milly. Despite being married, Milly openly calls Lyle her boyfriend.

Lyle allegedly started a romance with a student from the University of Manchester earlier this year after coming across her on a Facebook group managed by his wife. According to insiders, he initially reached out to her under a false name before eventually disclosing his real identity.

Their love story has only grown stronger, with Lyle going to great lengths to communicate with Milly. In fact, he was once caught using a forbidden cell phone at the heavily guarded Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility in San Diego, California, just to talk to her.

In the resentencing memo of former Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón, the incident, which was filed in late October, has been thoroughly documented.

On March 15, he was discovered with the phone in his shared cell, as detailed in the report. Lyle, on the other hand, has managed to acquire a second cell phone without authorization in order to stay in touch with Milly.

Bucksey went above and beyond to express her love for Lyle by making a journey of 5,300 miles from her home in Altrincham, Greater Manchester to San Diego. Their bond was captured in a photograph taken during Lyle’s time in prison.

In one photo, they were captured posing lovingly in front of a mural in the prison. Another photo displayed Milly seated on Lyle’s lap. The snap was taken on Saturday, September 14th. This date coincided with the prison’s visiting hours and happened to be just days before Milly’s return to University.

Milly went as far as changing her Facebook cover photo to a picture of Ocean Beach in San Diego in mid-November, which could be seen as a possible tribute to her newfound love.

Lyle’s affair is not a new occurrence for the 56-year-old, as he had previously been caught cheating on his first wife. His marriage to Anna Eriksson came to an end in 2001 after she discovered him sending love letters to another woman while he was behind bars.

The stakes are higher this time as Lyle and his brother Erik, 53, may soon receive a reduced sentence. In 1989, Kitty and José Menendez were shot and killed inside their Beverly Hills mansion. The perpetrators, the two individuals, were convicted and sentenced to life in prison for this crime.

In October, D.A. Gascón made the recommendation for a resentencing of the brothers, stating that they had fully paid their debt to society. Nate Hochman has replaced Gascón and jeopardized the brothers’ bid for freedom by announcing his intention to review Gascón’s decision.

He will assume the position on December 1. California Governor Gavin Newsom has chosen not to grant immediate clemency to the brothers this week. Instead, he is opting to wait for the results of Hochman’s review.

The resentencing hearing, scheduled for December 11, will probably be rescheduled.
