Sen. Ron Johnson of Wisconsin considers legal action in order to obtain COVID-19 vaccine data

US Senator Ron Johnson has warned that he will issue a subpoena as the chairman of the Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations if three federal health agencies persist in withholding data on the negative health impacts caused by the COVID-19 vaccine.

Senator Johnson has recently sent a letter to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Food and Drug Administration, and the Department of Health and Human Services.

In this letter, he has made a demand to preserve all records related to the development, safety, and side effects of COVID-19 vaccines. Furthermore, he has requested that these records be produced without any redactions by December 3rd.

In a recent communication, Senator Johnson expressed his dissatisfaction with the lack of cooperation and disregard displayed by the agencies towards his oversight efforts. He made it clear that their obstruction will not persist for long.

Johnson has requested full versions of three sections within a FOIA from May 2021, where the CDC heavily redacted the information, leaving no scientific data revealed.

Then-CDC Director Rochelle Walensky obtained Pfizer data on the number of myocarditis cases linked to the vaccine, as per a section in the report. The 14-page document is heavily redacted, except for the cover page.

Johnson has requested additional data from the CDC, including emails that reveal initial plans to send out a Health Alert Network message about the risk of myocarditis and pericarditis associated with the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine.

Johnson once again emphasized his plea for the CDC to disclose all communications and briefings pertaining to the decision of not issuing the HAN. He initially made this request in January.

He also insisted on viewing the 17 pages of fully redacted COVID-19 talking points that were reportedly distributed by the Biden White House to the nation’s top public health officials.

Senator Johnson concluded that the excessive redactions in the documents indicate a deliberate attempt to hide information about the detection and response to adverse events related to COVID-19 vaccines, such as myocarditis and pericarditis.

Public health officials consistently presented a deceptive narrative, claiming that the COVID-19 vaccines are safe and effective, despite being fully aware of the risks associated with them.

As the ranking member of the committee, Johnson has been actively engaging with federal agencies regarding the origins and treatment of the COVID-19 virus. He has already sent over 60 public letters to address these concerns. With the upcoming shift in majority from Democrats to Republicans in the 119th Congress, he will continue to play an influential role in shaping policies related to the pandemic.

The Biden administration’s spending on COVID-19 messaging has come under scrutiny, with the GOP-led House Energy and Commerce Committee releasing a report that reveals a staggering $900 million was spent on promoting faulty health messaging.
