Miami bagel store vandalism: man arrested for antisemitism

Authorities have apprehended a man over accusations of vandalizing a bagel store in downtown Miami. The suspect allegedly defaced the shop with antisemitic messages and damaged pro-Israeli flags on the premises.

Kenneth Guerrero has been taken into custody by detectives and charged with criminal mischief and prejudice. He stands accused of tagging antisemitic messages at Holy Bagels and Pizzeria located at Northwest First Avenue and First Street.

The storefront of an Israeli-owned business was captured on surveillance video being spray painted by Guerrero with the phrases “Free Palestine” and “Stop Genocide.”

According to Josh Nodel, the owner of the shop, his store has been vandalized a total of four times.

Over the past few months, vandals have targeted the business owner’s other bagel shop in Miami Beach multiple times.

According to the police, the individual responsible for the incident also vandalized a pro-Israeli flag at the same location.
