During a violent altercation with another inmate, a prisoner at the Orleans Parish Prison sustained multiple stab wounds and is currently receiving medical treatment at a nearby hospital.
The stabbing incident was recorded in the NOPD’s major offense log, which took place on Tuesday at approximately 11:30 a.m.
The authorities withheld information about the victim’s condition and the names of the parties involved. It was also not mentioned if the suspect had been rebooked on new charges.
