Authorities in Long Beach reported that a boat crash on Wednesday night resulted in the death of one individual and multiple injuries.
It occurred in Alamitos Bay at approximately 9:30 p.m.
The pleasure craft that hit with the rocks included eleven persons, according to the Long Beach Fire Department.
The victim, who was identified only as a male in his 45s to 50s, passed away there. Three of the ten patients who were admitted to the hospital had serious injuries. The fire department stated that speed seems to have been a factor in the collision.
Investigations into the incident are still ongoing.
