LOS Angeles On Thursday, authorities arrested five teens who were accused of leading them on a police chase through Los Angeles County in a suspected stolen SUV.
Officials have reported that the pursuit initially began in the South Los Angeles area. The suspected driver, who was operating a silver Kia Soul that had been reported stolen, was sighted on surface streets before making their way onto the northbound 110 Freeway. The pursuit eventually led to the Santa Monica area, where the driver entered the 405 Freeway.

Around 1 p.m. in the Hawthorne area, witnesses reported a Kia driver driving recklessly and running several red lights. The driver was observed entering a residential neighborhood.
The car chase finally came to a halt in the vicinity of W. 129th St. and Jefferson, where the car came to a stop. At this point, five suspects were observed exiting the vehicle and fleeing the scene. They proceeded to scale fences and eventually arrived at an apartment complex, where a few of them even resorted to jumping through windows.
