People jokingly worry about Tim Scott’s engagement when Trump picks Vance for vice president

When Donald Trump selected his running mate, many people made jokes that it was bad news for Tim Scott and his fiancée, Mindy Noce. However, the choice turned out to be good news for Republican Senator JD Vance from Ohio.

According to Axios, Republican Party donors were concerned about the fact that 58-year-old South Carolina senator, Scott, has never been married before, despite being reportedly on Trump’s vice president shortlist.

Last September, The Washington Post reported that even six of Scott’s friends were unaware if he had a love interest due to his secretive nature about his personal life.

In January, Scott made a big announcement – he was engaged to Noce, an interior designer and mother of three from Charleston, South Carolina who had been previously married.

Although the relationship between the two was quickly established, many remained skeptical that it was merely a ploy to improve Scott’s chances of becoming Vice President.

Scott and Noce shared their “heaven-sent” love story with Fox News recently. However, with Trump’s announcement of Vance as his running mate, social media users are now speculating about the future of the engaged couple.

There was a widespread anticipation that a separation was imminent among many individuals.

HuffPost received confirmation from Nathan Brand, the spokesperson for Scott, that the wedding is still on despite recent speculations.
