Former President Trump is seen by the daughter of former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani as the biggest threat to America.
Caroline Giuliani, daughter of Rudy Giuliani, has been vocal about her father’s involvement with Trump and the upcoming election. In a recent interview with CNN’s Erin Burnett, she further discussed her support for Vice President Harris, expanding on her earlier announcement in a Vanity Fair op-ed.
“I do believe that everyone should be held accountable for their actions, but at this moment, the most significant danger our country faces is Trump,” she expressed to Burnett.
Caroline Giuliani expressed in her Vanity Fair piece that she has been mourning the loss of her father due to Trump. In the op-ed, she acknowledged her father’s recent disbarment in Washington, D.C., along with his filing for bankruptcy following a defamation case involving Georgia election workers. According to Caroline, her father is currently trapped in the quicksand of his own problems.
Caroline Giuliani emphasized the significance of examining the culture established by Trump in her recent interview. She pointed out how Trump’s refusal to accept his loss in the 2020 presidential election influenced not only her father but also others to compromise their values and go to great lengths to maintain his hold on power.
Caroline Giuliani highlighted the case involving Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss, two Georgia election workers who filed a defamation lawsuit against her father. Giuliani made unfounded claims accusing the mother-daughter duo of engaging in election fraud during the 2020 elections. Consequently, a jury granted the women a $148 million defamation verdict. Caroline argued that this incident exemplifies Trump’s willingness to harm his own supporters in pursuit of power.
“And Kamala Harris would never do that,” she exclaimed. “She has dedicated her entire career to advocating for the people. It is crucial that we vote for her.”
Caroline Giuliani was questioned about her concerns regarding her father’s potential imprisonment. In response, she expressed her reluctance to dwell on such thoughts and instead chooses to direct her attention towards the future.
Caroline Giuliani emphasized the critical importance of voting for Kamala Harris in order to secure a future for the country. According to her, if the nation fails to elect Harris, the potential consequences could be dire, as President Trump has already indicated his intention to pursue a similar course in the upcoming 2024 election.
“He plans to insist that he won this election, regardless of the actual outcome. That’s why it’s crucial for us to go out and vote, making it undeniable,” she emphasized.
