Tesla CEO Elon Musk is reportedly planning to spend millions of dollars on a targeted campaign to sway swing state voters in favor of Trump’s re-election

Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, openly expressed his support for Trump after surviving an assassination attempt in July. Prior to this incident, he had discreetly established a pro-Trump super PAC.

Elon Musk has consistently hinted at his Republican leanings. In fact, he took to his Twitter platform to express his belief that “There is either a red wave this November or America is doomed” back in March. Moreover, Musk has made undisclosed contributions to party causes even before fully embracing the MAGA ideology.

According to Federal Election Commission filings, the committee has already invested $87 million in the presidential race. Field operations received the majority of this amount, accounting for two-thirds of the total expenditure, as reported by the Post.

The results of the effort have been mixed.

According to the Post, the PAC had to revise its plans in Arizona and Nevada in July due to the challenges it faced in recruiting and retaining campaign workers. The organization has been grappling with the disruption and turnover caused by the extreme heatwaves in the region.

According to the newspaper, they expressed their doubts about the number of individuals who have the luxury of taking time off to go door-to-door. They questioned the identity of these people and highlighted the fact that the initial enthusiasm can quickly fade away once they experience the reality of working in the scorching summer heat.

According to reports, Musk disregarded the advice of PAC advisers who warned him about moving too quickly. He apparently held the belief that simply going out and informing people about the situation would be enough to convince them.

During the last few weeks of the campaign, Musk is focused on utilizing the PAC’s substantial funds to finance the most proactive get-out-the-vote efforts within the MAGA community.
