When asked about her father, Dick Cheney, voting Democrat despite serving as vice president under Republican President George W. Bush, Cheney responded by saying that she and her father speak every day and he has always understood the threat that Donald Trump poses. She mentioned that her father’s decision to vote Democrat was not a surprise to her.
She emphasized, “It’s not just him, but the countless senior officials, including national security advisers and secretaries of defense, who served in the Trump administration, all asserting that this man is unfit. Republicans may attempt to divert attention from this fact, but it is crucial for voters to acknowledge it.”
