Obama criticizes Trump’s dance party as a “hostage video” during a speech reminiscent of Fidel Castro

Former President Barack Obama made an appearance in Madison, Wisconsin on Tuesday afternoon to join Governor Tim Walz (D-MN) in a rally showing their support for the Democratic ticket.

After acknowledging Vice President Kamala Harris, Obama shifted his focus to criticizing Donald Trump. He specifically highlighted the recent MAGA town hall event, which unexpectedly transformed into a spontaneous dance party.

According to Obama, Donald Trump, a 78-year-old billionaire, has been incessantly complaining about his problems ever since he descended that golden escalator nine years ago.

In a recent statement, he listed a range of Trump-branded products that the former president is promoting to his supporters. However, he also insinuated that Trump is simply an aspiring dictator.

“He’s out there, giving two-hour speeches. It’s reminiscent of Fidel Castro; he just keeps on talking,” remarked Obama. “It’s like he’s serving up word salads.”

In his recollection, Obama fondly remembered the town hall meetings, reflecting on the numerous ones he had participated in during his time.

During the town hall meeting, the objective is to engage with constituents, citizens, and voters by addressing their questions and concerns. However, instead of answering questions, the individual in question opted to take a different approach.

Rather than providing responses, the person decided to play music for half an hour. Obama humorously commented on this, stating that the individual stood there, swaying to songs like ‘Ave Maria’ and ‘YMCA’.

He described her with a perplexed expression, as if she were unsure of what was happening. He likened her stance to that of a hostage in a video. He then posed a hypothetical scenario, questioning how people would react if Tim, Kamala, or himself were to behave similarly. He humorously added that while their playlist might be superior, the odd behavior would still be noteworthy.

Obama went on to ridicule Trump’s strange behavior, including his claim of being the father of IVF. “I have no clue what that means,” remarked Obama. “And neither do you.”
