Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene Promises to “Rip to Shreds” Every Federal Agency Under GOP Control
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) vowed that Republicans would dismantle “every single agency” within the federal government if the party gains control of the House, Senate, and White House.
In a recent appearance on the War Room podcast, Greene expressed strong criticism of U.S. involvement in Ukraine and what she described as widespread corruption and misconduct within government agencies, particularly the Pentagon and the State Department. She claimed that these agencies were engaging in efforts to “cover up” activities and wasteful spending, alleging that they were deliberately obstructing transparency.
“There is the biggest paper shredding, file deleting, dumpster fire burning going on in every single department, especially in the Pentagon and the State Department,” Greene said. “They are covering up as much as they possibly can.”
She also accused Democrats of “plotting war against us like never before,” positioning them as adversaries who have been at odds with conservatives for years.
When asked by podcast host Steve Bannon how best to combat growing resistance, Greene emphasized the need for an unrelenting approach. “You don’t let off the gas, you push that gas pedal down harder,” she said, outlining a strategy to aggressively overhaul government agencies. “And we go in every single agency, and we are going to gut them and rip them to shreds.”
Greene stressed that the GOP would show no leniency, stating, “There is no apologies. There is no reset. There is no unity.” She further argued that Democrats were deliberately embedding their allies into key positions within agencies, while simultaneously trying to present a cooperative front to Republicans.
Her comments reflect ongoing Republican frustration with the current administration and their commitment to pushing for significant changes in how the federal government operates.
