They came together to perform “California Sober,” a song from Post Malone’s first country album.
After the heartfelt tributes, George stepped onto the stage, expressing his gratitude to his fans, friends, and family. He specifically mentioned his wife of 53 years, Norma, with deep emotion.
“I am extremely grateful to the CMAs for including me among the talented artists who have been honored with the prestigious Willie Nelson name,” he expressed his gratitude.
