Donald Trump has chosen a new member for his Cabinet, replacing Matt Gaetz, the former representative from Florida. Gaetz, who was nominated for the position of attorney general, withdrew on Thursday due to the controversy surrounding allegations of paying underage women for sex. Trump’s decision to select a new candidate comes after the distraction caused by Gaetz’s nomination.
According to Trump, Pam’s experience as a prosecutor for almost two decades showcases her tough approach towards violent criminals, ensuring the safety of Florida families.
Furthermore, as Florida’s first female Attorney General, she actively worked towards combatting the trafficking of dangerous drugs and reducing the devastating impact of Fentanyl overdose deaths, which have caused immense pain for numerous families across the country.
Trump commended Pam’s outstanding performance, highlighting that he even requested her to serve on the Opioid and Drug Abuse Commission during his initial term, resulting in the preservation of many lives.
