Actor Keanu Reeves’ band Dogstar is set to perform at the Indiana State Fair later this summer, adding to the event’s star power.
The Hoosier Lottery Free Stage has announced a performance by the band, which includes Bret Domrose and Rob Mailhouse, on Thursday, August 8th at 7:30 p.m. Fair officials have confirmed the news.
According to the State Fair’s website, all performances at the Free Stage are free of charge with a paid fair admission. The seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Later in the summer, fans can purchase reserved viewing area tickets.
The State Fair, starting from August 2 and ending on August 18 in Indianapolis, has confirmed performances by Three Dog Night, Gladys Knight, and Bell Div Devoe.
According to their website, Dogstar first came together in California during the early 1990s, with Reeves taking on the role of bassist. Recently, the band reunited in 2022 and dropped a new album titled “Somewhere Between the Power Lines and Palm Trees” in October 2023.
Reeves gained immense popularity for his exceptional performances in Hollywood, particularly for his roles in action-packed movie series such as “The Matrix” and “John Wick.”
Currently, he is busy with various film projects, among which he is working on a sequel to his movie “Constantine” and lending his voice to the character of Shado in the highly anticipated “Sonic the Hedgehog” sequel.
